Markdown Discuss - Dec 2011 - Disappointed

I have subscribed to this list for about a month now.

I am just a MarkDown user; new to it. Using it within *Ema Personal Wiki &
Epistle* for Android.

I am not trying to implement this cool little light language into an app I
am developing; maybe someday.

I signed up because I thought I might get some MarkDown use tips.

*I have learned nothing from this list.*

I have witnessed a lot of bitching (which I guess you could accuse me of
now) and in-fighting. Adults acting like children.

I just read a long post about how "no one is listening to me...."

Waah. Waah.

Probably going to unsubscribe; so far all of these emails have just been
DELETE, DELETE, DELETE.

I hope to gather some useful knowledge on this little light markup
language. I suspect I'll not find it here. Sad.

Hi John,

I don't think you'll find usage tips discussed here very often, aside
from
recurring questions such as ?How does one include consecutive code blocks
or consecutive unordered lists?? As with most mailing lists, you're likely
to find only a portion of the posts interesting. From time to time, though,
there is interesting and constructive discussion. It tends to focus on ways
in which Markdown is being incorporated into software and ways in which the
language itself is being extended.

Hmmm, maybe you could give us a few examples of usage tips that you'd like
to see... would these be more about how to integrate Markdown into
infrastructure, other apps, etc.? I'm assuming you probably don't want
tips
that are covered by the syntax or other documents out there. best, Joe
