Markdown Discuss - Nov 2010 - rendering Markdown automatically

I made this thing. Some of you may find it useful.

I'm using it for documentation at work. It could also be handy if you run
Apache on your desktop machine and want to share files (for display purposes
only) that way.

yes!

it's time to get rid of the unnecessary .html middleman.

when people can serve their light-markup files directly,
the web will see another creative renaissance, much like
the one fostered by the simplicity of html one-point-oh...

to see the script in action:

a script to turn markdown into something a browser likes
weighs in at under-100k currently, which is a tiny feather
when compared to the bloated size of browsers nowadays.
no reason that script can't be embedded in the browser...
