Google isn''t yielding much on this.... In the Lustre 1.6 docs I see how to automatically start servers in /etc/fstab. My servers are also clients. Mounting clients in /etc/fstab seemed to hang everything. I had to log into each OSS and mount the OST manually. Then all was well. So my question is - how can one reliably start clients that are also OSS''s? Thanks, Joe

We recommend against running clients on OSSes as memory pressure between the two can lead to deadlocks. b.
