It was posted to the dev mailing lists. In fact, that's the *exact* same
place that your email was posted. How can you claim that this is impossible
or even hard to find, and yet send emails to it expecting people to find,
read, and take action based on them? (Remember, your subject line was 'Call
for help'...)

Seriously? http://www.lmgtfy.com/?q=llvm+2.7+release+master+bug
1st link: the gmane archive you claim to have looked at, with the bug number
in the snippet
4th link: the bugs mailing list email noting the creation of the bug, with
all of its contents and a link to bugzilla
I hadn't seen those bugs. And even if I had, what about newer
people?>

I'm not sure why you think burying links that are only relevant for a narrow
window of time in a long-lived webpage is more discoverable than email.
Also, unless you are subscribed to the commit list, the load from llvmdev is
very modest.

I find this hard to believe. Did you really look? There are exactly two
links in the email, one of them to the bug. Let's use the fancy powers of
search to help out:
http://article.gmane.org/gmane.comp.compilers.clang.devel/8084/match=release+master+bug
People are going to miss e-mails. That's a fact of
life.>

The solution to people not reading email is not to send them more email.
