In the future, can all major API changes please be checked in after
giving some warning to the community? For example, send a separate
email title "API Change" and then give some sort of warning as to when
it will go in the tree. This is a major API change and not everyone is
going to read these treads in depth.
There are many projects that do NOT live in llvm svn for whatever
reason and these projects have their own testers that use TOT of
llvm. Checking something this major disrupts these outside testers.
Its especially painful when things get checked in on a weekend without
warning and its harder to get a quick response to update outside
projects.
Thanks,
