[Gluster-users] Issue running GlusterFS on CentOS 6
Hi, After installing GlusterFS 3.2.5 using yum on 32bit machine I came across an issue I don't quite understand. 1. Executing the command # glustered -start , does nothing it appears that you can just start GlusterFS with command # glusterd 2. glistered expected a file /etc/glusterfs/glusterd.vol , this is not documented in administration guide I created a vol file as expected bu glusterFS, but when I start it up in debug mode # gluster --debug I get the following, not sure if this means it is up and running, [2012-01-13 06:17:31.808266] I [glusterfsd.c:1493:main] 0-glusterd: Started running glusterd version 3.2.5 [2012-01-13 06:17:31.808472] D [glusterfsd.c:374:get_volfp] 0-glusterfsd: loading volume file /etc/glusterfs/glusterd.vol [2012-01-13 06:17:31.809319] D [xlator.c:1302:xlator_dynload] 0-xlator: dlsym(reconfigure) on /usr/lib/glusterfs/3.2.5/xlator/storage/posix.so: undefined symbol: reconfigure -- neglecting [2012-01-13 06:17:31.809394] D [xlator.c:1308:xlator_dynload] 0-xlator: dlsym(validate_options) on /usr/lib/glusterfs/3.2.5/xlator/storage/posix.so: undefined symbol: validate_options -- neglecting [2012-01-13 06:17:31.809702] D [xlator.c:1285:xlator_dynload] 0-xlator: dlsym(notify) on /usr/lib/glusterfs/3.2.5/xlator/features/posix-locks.so: undefined symbol: notify -- neglecting [2012-01-13 06:17:31.809789] D [xlator.c:1302:xlator_dynload] 0-xlator: dlsym(reconfigure) on /usr/lib/glusterfs/3.2.5/xlator/features/posix-locks.so: undefined symbol: reconfigure -- neglecting [2012-01-13 06:17:31.809882] D [xlator.c:1308:xlator_dynload] 0-xlator: dlsym(validate_options) on /usr/lib/glusterfs/3.2.5/xlator/features/posix-locks.so: undefined symbol: validate_options -- neglecting [2012-01-13 06:17:31.811481] D [rpcsvc.c:1771:rpcsvc_init] 0-rpc-service: RPC service inited.
