[Gluster-users] how can I make the client re-read the configuration?
How can I make the glusterfs client re-read its configuration file? I added some more glusterfs servers and would like the clients to use them. How can I do it, without unmounting and mounting everything on clients from scratch? -- Tomasz Chmielewski http://wpkg.org

Should I assume it's impossible and killing a gluster fuse client and starting it again is the only way to "see" new servers? -- Tomasz Chmielewski http://wpkg.org

This functionality is not there currently. You have to remount GlusterFS for any changes to volume specification file. Dynamic volume management functionality will be released in Q2 of next year.
