Gluster users - Jan 2009 - Problems with root-squashing

Hi,

When I tried to use root-squashing on the server side, from the client
side it looks as if root operations succeed. For example when I remove
a file the file seems to disapear and I get no error message.
But if I umount and mount the gluster volume the file is still there.

If I put the filter on the client side things work fine, but I think a
root-squashing filter is much more useful or the server side.

You need to load root squashing on ALL the exports of the server
(namespace, data etc) for it to work as expected.
