freebsd stable - Oct 2003 - USB problems with CF and with Jenoptik JD5.2Z3

Have the following problems:

MBO USB-MultiCardREader 6-in-1 does not read 128MB CF-Card.

Interestingly, I also got this: (camcontrol rescan 0:0:2) - but only once.

(needless to say that I only had the CF-Card inserted...)
so far, both MS and SD-Cards gave no problems.

- I'll try a different USB MultiCard reader at the end of next week
- I'll also update my 4.9-PRERELEASE from 14. September to the 
  latest version.

Anything else I should try?

and trying to mount via mount_msdos returns "Input/output error"

What could I try here to get it working?

Actually I'm hoping for a 'has just been fixed' or 'try this
patch'

Addendum: works flawlessly with Windows 98 :-( So both card reader
and Card seem to work.
