Savicom is looking for skilled operations staff in San Francisco.
Our offices are located in the Financial District in Downtown San Francisco,
and our colocation facility is located near South San Francisco.
Required skills and experience:
- FreeBSD/Solaris
- Experience with Internet behavior, configurations, SW, tools and protocols
(TCP/IP)
- Must be a strong self-learner and self motivated
- Experience or the desire to work in a fast-paced environment
- Must have transportation
These skills would be considered a plus:
- Configuration of Cisco 2600/3600/7500 series routers, 2900/6500 Switches, and
Cisco PIX firewalls
- Configuriation and Maintenance of RAID storage (3Ware/LSI/IBM/Infortrend)
- Scripting in shell, perl or other scripting languages
- sendmail, Postfix, Apache, PostgreSQL, MySQL, DNS/BIND, Windows
