Senior Systems Administrator (FT - onsite)
FreeBSD/Unix; DNS, Sendmail, Firewall, Apache, Samba, SpamAssasin, Net News
Windows Desktop: installation, deployment and support
Desktop Support: MS Office, Outlook
Networking: Extreme, Cisco, Ethernet, T1
Manage relationships with Pacbell, SAVVIS, etc...
Comfortable working in a data center, installing equipment, punching down
wire pairs, etc...
Windows Server: deploying new services such as ADS, Exchange
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Responsibilities:
Support and manage production servers and services (on-site and at
co-location facility).
Support technical and non-technical user community.
Develop and document procedures and processes for operational duties.
Experience working in a small department of a fast growing organization is
highly desired. The position is highly visible, so good communication
skills and a professional demeanor are required.
