Flac - Sep 2004 - [Flac-users] FLAC Plug-in for Windows Media Player?

I was wondering if there is a FLAC plugin for Windows Media Player?  Just
from doing web-searches, it doesn't look like there is, at least as far as I
can tell.  So, if there isn't a plug-in for WMP, well, why isn't there?
And
is there anyone working on one?

Hi, and thanks for responding.  I'll play with it some.  It may be beyond
my expertese, or beyond the amount of time I'm willing to spend.  But I
can give it a shot.

no and no... I think it requires making a directshow filter,
which I don't know how to do.  people have talked about it
before.  try asking around on http://www.hydrogenaudio.org.
