Larger than the largest device size currently supported by Linux. If
you are having file size problems, it is because of a change/bug in
the 2.4.10+ kernels that only appears with glibc < 2.2, and only if
you are trying to set ulmits (i.e. not logging in directly as root).
If you are just curious about the numbers, please see "Limitations" in
the file linux/Documentation/filesystems/ext2.txt, ext3 is the same.
