[Dovecot] Issue after upgrading to Ubuntu Server 11.10
Hi all, After upgrading to Ubuntu Server 11.10 my mail setup stopped working. The error message I get is: lda: Error: userdb lookup: connect(/var/run/dovecot/auth-userdb) failed: Permission denied (euid=5000(vmail) egid=5000(vmail) missing +r perm: /var/run/dovecot/auth-userdb, euid is not dir owner) Does anybody have an idea how to solve this? [Dovecot] Issue after upgrading to Ubuntu Server 11.10
I added unix_listener auth-userdb { group = vmail mode = 0600 user = vmail } to the configuration which seems to solve the issue. Is this the right solution?
