dovecot - Apr 2007 - INDEX on database

it maybe a feature request, but could you add an option to make INDEX dovecot
files in the database?currently I use mysql as backend.thank you.

You could likely make changes or additions to here. Seems though
Dovecot is workings it way into databases rather than mandating how
the tables should be laid out. Those are merely the most privative
fields needed and could be spread across other tables and joined, etc.
