1.0RC2 is available on ubuntu edgy (the next release of ubuntu,
currently in test)

Postfix is 2.2.10 there too
http://packages.ubuntu.com/edgy/mail/postfix
Just edit your /etc/apt/sources.list to point to edgy instead of dapper,
install the packages, then change back your sources.list.
