[CentOS] CentOS 7 + GNOME : all icon themes broken after update from CR
Hi, I just upgraded one of my CentOS 7 + GNOME desktops from the CR repo. After the upgrade, it seems like all of the icon themes are broken. Missing icons everywhere. Any idea what's going on here ? Sort of a downgrade to the official CentOS 7.5? The recommended method for undo an update is https://access.redhat.com/solutions/64069, but it's not supported if glibc, kernel, or selinux are changed. I'd give it a try if the system is not critical. Make backups first. Some other people's experience on downgrading a point release: https://access.redhat.com/discussions/2933711 If you couldn't read that article, just search "yum history undo". I am trying to figure out how I missed the problem. Do the icons show up if you have a new user? Do the icons say they are missing files and what files are they missing? Thanks. -- Stephen J Smoogen.
