What are the chances that a package such as vlc from http://videolan.org/vlc would become included in extras? so a yum install vlc would work. Thanks, Jerry

I think it came from freshrpms. The Centos web site has instructions on how to set up freshrpms on your system. -- ---- Fred Smith -- fredex at fcshome.stoneham.ma.us ----------------------------- "For the word of God is living and active. I see no need in doubling efforts, as rpmforge is a trusted third party repository. See http://wiki.centos.org/Repositories on how to set up rpmforge for your computer.
