Dear friends: [Using the Centos 4.4 DVD) I will spend the next few days reading the documentation for Centos/RedHat. But meanwhile, I would like, while reading it, to listen to my favorite radio programs which require RealPlayer. So, my question is simply: should I download the RealPlayer RPM from www.real.com or should I download it from an rpm repository source? While I am at, what about other programs such as Acrobat Reader, Java, etc.? Thank you so much. Benjamin
You can use rpm reporsitories to download Real Player, for acrobat reader get the latest version from the Adobe site it works pretty fine am using it on my 4.3 and for Java just get the JDK you want from the sun site plus the J Creator if u use it both work great. Cheers, CentOS is pretty cool On 2/20/07, Benjamin Sher <delphi123 at zebra.net> wrote:> > Dear friends: > > [Using the Centos 4.4 DVD) > > I will spend the next few days reading the documentation for > Centos/RedHat. > But meanwhile, I would like, while reading it, to listen to my favorite > radio > programs which require RealPlayer.
