CentOS - Mar 2006 - IBM T42 Laptop

Hi,

I just bought the above named Laptop and was wondering if there is anything I 
need to watch out for besides not having 3D acceleration because they use ATI 
grafic cards?  Maybe the built in wireless card might not work too.

Other then that can anyone think of anything else?

CentOS 4.2 has Xorg 6.8 which in turn has some 3d acceleration for the
r200/r250 series. I don't know which card is in the T42, my T40 has an
ATI 9200 (Mobility M9) - which works accelerated under Xorg 6.8.

Forget Doom3 and the like, Quake 3 works reasonably, the 3d screensavers
do well also.
