G'day one and all, I would like to install Centos 4 on a freecom classic hard drive (usb) ..the box I want to use can boot from removable devices. Any ideas how to go about installing onto the portable drive? If not can anyone point me in the right direction? I have tried to google but have not come up with much info....or info that I understand anyway!!!!! As usual, many thanks in advance. _________________________________________________________________ Want to block unwanted pop-ups? Download the free MSN Toolbar now! http://toolbar.msn.co.uk/

You'll have to pull the drive from the enclosure and connect it directly to the machine before you can install. Even then grub may give you grief. -- Ignacio Vazquez-Abrams <ivazquez at ivazquez.net> http://centos.ivazquez.net/ gpg --keyserver hkp://subkeys.pgp.net --recv-key 38028b72 -------------- next part -------------- A non-text attachment was scrubbed...
