After bootup, the the system tracks movement by the mouse just fine. The unstable behavior can be characterized as follows: 1. Console is switched to a different system for a time and then switched back to the Centos system. 2.

more than one repo with --disablerepo
What's the correct syntax for something like the following: yum check-update --disablerepo=dag ivazquez Extras Misc this runs "dead" and doesn't do a check-update. Use kommas? Something else? man just tells to use glob exp, but what about multiple repo's? Kai -- Kai Sch?tzl, Berlin, Germany Get your web at Conactive Internet Services: http://www.conactive.com

Installing on Abit BE7-RAID
I have RH 8 running on a Abit BE7-RAID motherboard. My task is installing Centos 4.1 with limited knowledge on installing with hardware RAID. The arrays are still in place for the two pairs of drives. HighPoint only shows drivers up through RH 9. Is there anyone who can take me through the steps? Remove the existing arrays? Will the drivers work with Centos 4.1? Since I used Windows to

Shrinking a ext3 filesystem ?
I installed CentOS on my home-server with 2 IDE 160GB MAXTOR HDD / RAID-1, LVM and ext3 partitions. Previous OS on this machine was FC2. I often "play" with LVM and, sometimes, have to extand or reduce some volumes size. I was surprised to see that resize2fs isn''t included anymore ! The replacing tool is ext2online but this one seems to only be able to grow a filesystem (not

Dovecot 1.0.something rpm for CentOS?
Is anyone using successfully a specific rpm of Dovecot 1.0.something? There's nothing on dag and a few on rpmfind (for Fedora Core), but I don't know if they'd work. The one coming with Centos 4 (0.99.11) has quite a few bugs and I'd like to put an upgrade on top of it.
