CentOS doesn''t include yumi.  I''ve emailed this to the CentOS
users ML.
Dag rebuilds yumi for CentOS, his version should work.  If it doesn''t
email dag.

Yumi is broken, was broken on FC3 too. It should have been excluded and
now is :)

Thomas Chung updated yumi/gyum to work with yum >= 2.1.

If you need a graphical front-end for managing CentOS 4 packages and
repositories, I can recommend Smart.

I will be adding a chapter about Smart to my FAQ later today.

Maybe the CentOS repo config package could already deliver the
configuration so it integrates well ? Examples are embedded in the SPEC
file.

A bit OT...

The original channel files seem to have some missing fields and would
not work on any distro - not sure if this may be a post-script problem.

Dag''s Binary packages for el4 work, but an attempt to rebuild from SRPM
fails as follows, despite the fact the qt packages are all installed:

checking for Qt... configure: error: Qt (>= Qt 3.2) (headers and
libraries) not found. Please check your installation!
