Hi everyone, Ive just installed a bunch of Snom 360s, and now having a NIGHTMARE of problems! Ive got a receponist phone with a extra sidecar on it. And when she gets 2+ calls and puts them on hold, when she goes to transfer them out the calls on hold get merged together. Somehow the calls on hold get merged and not to the extension needed!! Any help on this would be great guys, that would be great!!! Thanks! Brad -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed... Maybe even the config & firmware version of the Snom. How can you expect people to be able to help you if you don't provide any info other than that it does not work? Regards, Patrick

[asterisk-users] RE: Snom 360 Multiple calls on hold help
Hi Brad, Keep Call join on Xfer (2 calls) to off, and Transfer on Onhook: off as well if the receptionist is by chance putting the handset on hook. But I think the problem is neither of these. It could be that the Transfer key is being pressed twice and that would indeed join the two calls together as the second key press tells the phone about the Xfer destination. [asterisk-users] RE: Snom 360 Multiple calls on hold help
Perhaps this is a user error then. I get the first call, press hold. Second call comes in, I press hold. Then I scroll thru the calls on hold, hit transfer then hit the speed dial or dial extension. Thats wrong I take it? Can you show me the call process then on how to transfer calls if this wrong?? Im setting up a mock lab here in a few minutes to test some more myself! Thanks! Just don't put the 2nd call on hold if you want to transfer it to a third one i.e. either through speed dial/extension or through manual input. > Thanks again for this new beta release, I couldnt of asked for aquicker response> time, my hat is truly off to Snom for actually caring about thecustomer! I'll 2nd that, we use mainly Snom's now and its mostly down to the fact they provide excellent customer service and support. And they also make very good handsets :)
