asterisk users - Apr 2006 - Can't recieve Fax: No carrier detected - Asterisk + iaxmodem + Hylafax

I'm able to recieve fax with pure SpanDSP 0.0.2 + Asterisk successfully 
but I have problems with some fax machine so I wanted to try using 
HylaFax to recieve Fax instead of SpanDSP hoping that it'll solve my 
problem. I'm trying to connect Asterisk with SpanDSP using iaxmodem. My 
system looks like this:


ISDN <---> Asterisk <---> IAXModem <---> Hylafax


Asterisk and Hylafax are on the same machine.


I'm trying to connect Asterisk and Hylafax together using IAXModem. I'm 
able to forward the fax call from Asterisk to HylaFax by using this line:

exten => fax,1,Dial(IAX2/hylafax-iaxmodem/${NumberCalled},60,);

in iax.conf I set it up like this.

I checked that the faxgetty is running.

I ran faxstat when receiving the fax and the status said: receiving 
facsimile

I checked the asterisk CLI, the call is routed to Hylafax as shonw:

I'm using Asterisk 1.2.6, spanDSP 0.0.2 pre 25.
I build iaxmodem using static option and I'm using the newest version of 
iaxmodem presents.
I'm running it on Dabien.


It said No carrier detected but I'm confused.
I'm able to recieve fax with SpanDSP just fine using the same testing 
machine -- is it really that the signal is too weak? Or did I did some 
configuration wrong??


Could anyone give me a clue of what I should do to fix this problem??
