Hey,> they say DID active inmediatly , but after 4 days , I have no > DID , I tried to call tech support office and it seems they > all ways are in hollidays, a support ticket no good luck, I > call back service also not good luck.I'm in the same boat with DID! And even worse, I don't think there will be a way to recover the money you paid for the service you never received. I'm thinking to take legal actions on them.> > > so anyone here has experience with them? are they a SCAM?I have no issues for outgoing calls though. Their rates are ok, but voipjet seems to be a little cheaper, but I like signal quality of IAX.CC more than voipjet. Sincerely, --Andy x6722

Well, it's not a scam -- I have eight active DIDs through them. Some took a week, one I got within three hours, one took two weeks, but was setup after an email. Double/overbilling issues were solved after several emails over a course of two weeks. Recently, voice-quality has been lacking, and I don't think it's my end. Try support@sixtel.net or IM to get your stuff worked out & Good luck! No, I wouldn't recommend them, but they *are* operational... Eventually.> -----Original Message----- > From: Voip Business [mailto:voipbusiness@gmail.com] > Sent: Tuesday, February 15, 2005 4:37 PM > To: Asterisk Users Mailing List - Non-Commercial Discussion > Subject: [Asterisk-Users] iax.cc and/or Sixtel.net ,, IS IT A SCAM??? > > > hello list, > > I subscribe to Sixtel.net for a DID just to see how it worked. > > they say DID active inmediatly , but after 4 days , I have no > DID , I tried to call tech support office and it seems they > all ways are in hollidays, a support ticket no good luck, I > call back service also not good luck. > > > so anyone here has experience with them? are they a SCAM? > > > fortunally only put there $10 bucks but , inf we are several > 10 bucks can be a good money. > > > regards > > HA > _______________________________________________ > Asterisk-Users mailing list > Asterisk-Users@lists.digium.com > http://lists.digium.com/mailman/listinfo/aster> isk-users > To > UNSUBSCRIBE or update options visit: >http://lists.digium.com/mailman/listinfo/asterisk-users

Do I have to feel very lucky to actually have gotten the service I was promised? I'm not saying it was easy (I had my small problems and delays with the company) but I do have a fully functioning toll free number and an iax account. The credit I purchased was immediately added to my account and I am using it with no prob. After I signed up for the US48 toll free number (advertised as free - no monthly fee) I noticed I had been billed 30 cents and was going to every month. I wrote to them and they removed the charged and refunded the money. So... I don't know what to say! (Besides: I hope they don't close down!). Good luck to all, manny
