asterisk users - Oct 2004 - Unable to create Zap channels/IAX Warning

Please can someone help me with the following two error messages:

Error 1. I have loaded the Zaptel dirvers and everything is ok with ztcfg.  I 
have configured Zapata.conf and everthing looks good but it apears the Zap 
channels dont load when starting Asterisk.  When I make a call to one of the 
fxs port I get the following error message.

    -- Executing Dial("SIP/39-b204", "Zap/6|30|rt") in new
stack
Oct  1 18:59:52 WARNING[1112185776]: channel.c:1860 ast_request: No channel 
type registered for 'Zap'
Oct  1 18:59:52 NOTICE[1112185776]: app_dial.c:714 dial_exec: Unable to create 
channel of type 'Zap'
  == Everyone is busy/congested at this time
    -- Executing Wait("SIP/39-b204", "2") in new stack
    -- Executing Hangup("SIP/39-b204", "") in new stack


2. I am having probems with incoming calls from fwd using IAX2 and can only 
see the following warning which I assume is causing the problem, outgoing 
calls are working ok.  The following WARNING is displayed during start-up

 [chan_iax2.so] => (Inter Asterisk eXchange (Ver 2))
  == Manager registered action IAXpeers
  == Parsing '/etc/asterisk/iax.conf': Found

Hello Nicolas ,

Error 1.

Did u re-compile asterisk after compiling zaptel ?
try : zap show channels , what u see ?

Error 2.

Please describe with more details , what kind of error u?re having.
Do u have a incoming extension/context for IAX at FWD ?
