I followed the Wiki instructions to get zaptel to work on Fedora core 2. It looked like everything went perfect including the loading of ztdummy. However, I am having meetme and MOH problems synonymous with ztdummy not loading. Take a look at my lsmod...Any ideas? No takers? I'd love to get some advice from folks running ztdummy and fedora core 2. Remember...I'm also running a dual proc machine. I understand that this may limit other timing alternatives. Thanks for any advice! Excellent! Thanks. -----Original Message----- From: asterisk-users-bounces@lists.digium.com [mailto:asterisk-users-bounces@lists.digium.com] On Behalf Of Michael Workman Sent: Wednesday, September 15, 2004 10:21 PM To: 'Asterisk Users Mailing List - Non-Commercial Discussion' Subject: RE: [Asterisk-Users] ztdummy on Fedora Core 2 Ya I ran into that same problem.... What I had to do was to do a make config on kernel... And make the kernel and install Just make sure you do make modules and make module install before you reboot... Then reboot on new kernel and then reconfigure and make your zap... It should be no problem then You having problems loading modules is what's happening... The standard kernel is version controlled if you do a basic make config and just hold down enter key till done then make and install You should have no problems But also I found that adding software watchdog timer help too.. -----Original Message----- From: asterisk-users-bounces@lists.digium.com [mailto:asterisk-users-bounces@lists.digium.com] On Behalf Of Chad Brown Sent: Thursday, September 16, 2004 1:15 AM To: Asterisk Users Mailing List - Non-Commercial Discussion; William Suffill Subject: RE: [Asterisk-Users] ztdummy on Fedora Core 2 Standard -----Original Message----- From: asterisk-users-bounces@lists.digium.com [mailto:asterisk-users-bounces@lists.digium.com] On Behalf Of Michael Workman Sent: Wednesday, September 15, 2004 7:57 PM To: 'William Suffill'; 'Asterisk Users Mailing List - Non-Commercial Discussion' Subject: RE: [Asterisk-Users] ztdummy on Fedora Core 2 Are you running off the standard Kernel from install or id you recompile kernel -----Original Message----- From: asterisk-users-bounces@lists.digium.com [mailto:asterisk-users-bounces@lists.digium.com] On Behalf Of William Suffill Sent: Wednesday, September 15, 2004 10:09 PM To: Asterisk Users Mailing List - Non-Commercial Discussion Subject: Re: [Asterisk-Users] ztdummy on Fedora Core 2 ztdummy should be able to work natively on the 2.6 kernel w/o need of usb.
