Good evening all,
to complete test that I made in august (and which where discussed here)
about garbage when receiving fax, I went more down in my tests.
At first, my setup is an * CVS-HEAD-09/08/04, spandsp-0.0.1k, X100P
(Tiger Jet Network Model 300 128k), kernel 2.4.26 on an SMP SoftRaid
machine (2x400Celeron 400) and 448 MB RAM. I tried the same kernel
without SMP.
I tested with a HP OfficeJet 490 as well as with Hylafax-server/#ComUSR
56k faxmodem, both connected to an BT ATA286 and answered by my * box.
Page is A4 on HP, and for Hylafax, I just send the faxcover.
Everything is fine and then starting at scanline 1287 (changing from
test to test but always around scanline 1200)
[...]
Fax3Decode1D: Warning, (FakeInput): premature EOL at scanline xxxx ( got
xxxx, expected xxxx).
or
Fax3Decode1D: (FakeInput): Bad code word at scanline yyyy (x yyyy).
or
Fax3Decode1D: Warning, (FakeInput): line length mismatch at scanline
xxxx ( got xxxx, expected xxxx).
1509 rows received
0 total bad rows
0 max consecutive bad rows
Viewing the received fax, it's perfect till around the middle of the
page and then garbage. You can see result at http://ftp2.tootai.net/shots
Above information 0 bad rows let me baffled. I know that others had same
problem. Could you solved them? Did someone have a solution/idea on what
happend?
Thanks for any hint
