asterisk users - Jul 2004 - Broken pipe in remote exeute

Hi,

I used to be able to run asterisk -rx 'stop gracefully' on stable.

But now with CVS-HEAD-07/07/04-20:09:43 it's returning:

'Broken pipe'

Any ideas why, or how to fix it?
