[Asterisk-Users] Asterisk CLI Issues - CVS-03/30/04-14:34:01
Hello all, I just updated my development Asterisk box today and am noticing weird behaviour in the CLI. Whenever I hit "tab" the CLI shows me the list of commands, but the output is garbled. See below. I'm running the v1.0_stable code, checked out about 2 hours ago. asterisk*CLI> show version Asterisk CVS-03/30/04-14:34:01 built by root@asterisk.n2net.net on a i686 running Linux asterisk*CLI> add database debug dont dump exit extensions help h§U·h§U· iax2 include init §U·h§U· ·h§U· load logger no pri quit reload remove restart set show sip soft stop unload zap asterisk*CLI> h\247U\267h\247U\267 Any thoughts? -- Vice President of N2Net, a New Age Consulting Service, Inc. [Asterisk-Users] SIP G.723.1 G.729 Asterisk Passthrough
Ok, I give up! I've tried all the suggestions that I can find to make this work, but it still doesnt. We are trying to send calls using G723.1 from a Cisco AS5300, via Asterisk to Cisco ATA-186 (and similar) devices. We have no support in Asterisk loaded for G723.1, we are simply trying to get * to pass the media stream through without change - it doesnt have to generate/receive any audio itself. We can't use reinvites as the AS5300 is not accessable to the outside IP world. Anyone out there got this working? If so, what did you have to do to your config to make it work? Linus
