R help - Feb 2001 - print to file question

Probably doing something wrong here.  
I'm getting an empty file called "Rplot.ps" 
when I do this:
> foo<-rnorm(100)
> postscript()
> boxplot(foo)
System info:
Version:
 platform = i586-pc-linux-gnu
 arch = i586
 os = linux-gnu
 system = i586, linux-gnu
 status = 
 major = 1
 minor = 2.2
 year = 2001
 month = 02
 day = 26
 language = R

Search Path:
 .GlobalEnv, package:ctest, Autoloads, package:base

I've checked the following:
  write permission in the directory (got it - it's my home directory ;-).
  disk isn't full.

Is there a call to flush a buffer I'm not aware of?
If not, any other ideas?
If it is a bug, the symptoms were identical in 1.2.1.

dev.off() when you're finished writing to the file.
