Dear R-users, I am interested in conducting neural network analysis using R. Bishop (1995) describes a technique for cross-validation analysis of a neural network in which a dataset is divided into a training set, a validation set, and a testing set. It appears that by default, R uses a training set and a validation set to train a neural net. Is this correct? Thanks in advance. Jagat K.
