Its purpose is to bring together researchers and others interested in in aspects of inference for small samples, including but not confined to saddlepoint and related methods, robust approaches, and bootstrap and Markov chain Monte Carlo methods, and to discuss how these ideas should be used in applications. Speakers will include Alessandra Brazzale (EPFL) Ronald Butler (Colorado) Christopher Field (Dalhousie) Donald Fraser (Toronto) David Hinkley (Santa Barbara) Bruce Lindsay (Penn State) Peter McCullagh (Chicago) Per Mykland (Chicago) Donald Pierce (Hiroshima) Nancy Reid (Toronto) John Robinson (Sydney) Richard Spady (Oxford) Jamie Stafford (Toronto Alastair Young (Cambridge) among others.
