R help - Oct 1999 - No subject

Dear friends. 
When using in windows version the menu function to change directory, what
actions are actually performed, i.e. what commands could I write to a file to
make a CD ? I couldn't find it mentioned anywhere - undoubtedly an oversigth
on my part.

setwd()

I found myself it was pretty hidden a few months ago.
