Xen users - Aug 2011 - vcpu-set online/offline vcpus automatically (xen4.0.1 2.6.32-5-xen-amd64)

Hello,

I''m working on PV domUs trying to add and remove vcpus.

Removing vcpus works fine, as xm vcpu-set removes the cpu in domU (shown as
expected in /sys/devices/system/cpu/), but adding vcpus requires intervention
inside domU :

echo 1 > /sys/devices/system/cpu/cpuXX/online

because the cpu is added and seen by domU, but it is not automatically brought
online.

Is there any way to automate bringing online newly inserted cpus other than a
crontab?

Dom0 is a debian 6.0 (xen4.0.1 2.6.32-5-xen-amd64)
