hello Is there anyone help me to create a private or public cloud by xen? Actually I want to run a simple application from browser on this cloud. I haven''t any experience in this case. I''ve just run xen on centos and create some vm on it and also install xcp. thanks Arezoo _______________________________________________ Xen-users mailing list Xen-users@lists.xensource.com http://lists.xensource.com/xen-users
There was "similar" question earlier. You can read the discussion at: http://www.gossamer-threads.com/lists/xen/users/214078 . It''s not an answer to your question, it''s more like an explanation why your question is hard to answer. -Henrik Andersson On 1 August 2011 06:52, Arezoo Musavi <arzmos66@gmail.com> wrote:> > hello > > Is there anyone help me to create a private or public cloud by xen? > Actually I want to run a simple application from browser on this cloud. > I haven''t any experience in this case. Pretty similar in your case. xen (whether part of a distro like Centos, or as an "appliance" like XenServer/XCP) can be a building block to create private/public cloud, but xen by itself is not enough. AFAIK there''s no complete open source solution capable of handling all aspects of private cloud (including security and management) in an automated manner. Eucalyptus might be the closest thing though, so you might want to start asking there: http://www.eucalyptus.com/ If you have the money, many vendors (e.g. vmware, citrix, cisco) will be happy to help you. -- Fajar _______________________________________________ Xen-users mailing list Xen-users@lists.xensource.com http://lists.xensource.com/xen-users
