-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Just out of curiosity how are you guys doing large deployments of XCP? I made a post yesterday about PXE booting XCP and apparently right now that''s not an option so I would assume people are kickstarting installs and modifying vanilla isntalls into XCP nodes. I know OpenStack''s OpenCompute is set to address some of this but it''s role in large-scale XCP deployments is also a bit unclear to me at this very early stage of my research. I have read about it''s project management features, user groups, and addressing however I''m still confused about it''s practical use for large-scale deployments. If anyone has any insight into scaled deployments I would appreciate hearing from you. -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Charset: UTF8 Version: Hush 3.0 Note: This signature can be verified at https://www.hushtools.com/verify wpwEAQMCAAYFAk34E9IACgkQ9E8w/OsK6we4LAQAnIkZuc/Z+rbUxbNhjZxd0sRqdKUr QgXMmWvkKBLeNwbM9yRt2kiT8i/r6t+olGdMvWkeZ9S3j/WynrCeAA8RxFWDr11jZ6sp jq2vuWb+XZFjwOLn94DjP5loaUc5LjQ4DAdr/oKNPhPYVjcmzW+775W/SOjL4txGxC/H wyYE8Y0=fOxa -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- _______________________________________________ Xen-users mailing list Xen-users@lists.xensource.com http://lists.xensource.com/xen-users

The crowbar project and the chef cookbooks/recipes around OpenStack/XCP are still in the early stages of evolving. XCP on Ubuntu and more OpenStack support is in the works currently http://blog.xen.org/index.php/2011/06/05/xcp-on-ubuntu/ Hope that helps to get you started a bit.
