[Xen-users] Problem starting hvm guest Error: Domain ''hvmguest'' does not exist.
Hi , I have installed Xen 4.0.1 oon to my Debain Lenny. I have successfully got the Dom0 kernel to boot up. Now when I try to start my first hvm guest I get an error Error: Domain ''hvmguest'' does not exist. My /etc/xen/hvmguest.cfg file is as given below import os, re arch_libdir = ''lib64'' arch = os.uname()[4] kernel = "/usr/lib/xen/boot/hvmloader" builder=''hvm'' memory = 512 name = "hvmguest" vif = [ '''' ] disk = [''tap:remus:192.168.1.4:9000 |aio:/var/lib/xen/images/hvmguest.x86-64.img,hda,w''] device_model = ''/usr/'' + arch_libdir + ''/xen/bin/qemu-dm'' boot="c" sdl=0 vnc=1 vfb = [ ''type=vnc,vncpasswd=passw,vnclisten=0.0.0.0,vncdisplay=2'' ] serial=''pty'' Then when I try to start the hvm I get this snomdom0A:/etc/xen# xm create hvmguest.cfg Using config file "./hvmguest.cfg". Error: Domain ''hvmguest'' does not exist. Regards, Roy _______________________________________________ Xen-users mailing list Xen-users@lists.xensource.com http://lists.xensource.com/xen-users
