Hey Everyone, I''m running a Debian Squeeze system with the following: xen 4.0.1 (xen-hypervisor-4.0-amd64 4.0.1-1) linux 2.6.32-5-xen-amd64 (linux-image-2.6.32-5-xen-amd64 2.6.32-23) Networking is being handled by the default network-bridge script. So the problem I''m having is that the domU loses connectivity abruptly. I''ve done tcpdumps on the domU interface, the dom0 interface and on a computer on the same network. After the connectivity drops on the domU all i see are arp packets. What i specifically see is: 11:40:51.149221 ARP, Ethernet (len 6), IPv4 (len 4), Request who-has 192.168.0.140 tell 192.168.0.190, length 46 11:40:52.095454 ARP, Ethernet (len 6), IPv4 (len 4), Request who-has 192.168.0.190 tell 192.168.0.140, length 28 11:40:52.095524 ARP, Ethernet (len 6), IPv4 (len 4), Reply 192.168.0.190 is-at 00:11:25:c4:39:31, length 46 11:40:53.095454 ARP, Ethernet (len 6), IPv4 (len 4), Request who-has 192.168.0.190 tell 192.168.0.140, length 28 11:40:53.095526 ARP, Ethernet (len 6), IPv4 (len 4), Reply 192.168.0.190 is-at 00:11:25:c4:39:31, length 46 11:40:54.095456 ARP, Ethernet (len 6), IPv4 (len 4), Request who-has 192.168.0.190 tell 192.168.0.140, length 28 11:40:54.095528 ARP, Ethernet (len 6), IPv4 (len 4), Reply 192.168.0.190 is-at 00:11:25:c4:39:31, length 46 So basically the domU (.140) is constantly asking for the gateway''s (.190) mac, the gateway replies, and also asks for the domU''s mac, but never gets a response. Anyway clearly the gateway arp packets aren''t reaching the domU, other computers on the same network (including the dom0) also have no connectivity to the domU. Any ideas? I would love to debug this issue... I just don''t know what I can do next.
