Rails - Jun 2006 - Colouring ''text_area'' plus scrollbar on view

Hi,

I am trying to colour a text_area input field,
including the scrollbar (2-dimensional field).

I was able to change the colour of a button associated
with a ''submit_tag'' by adding a :class and defining
properties in my CSS file.

Is something similar required?
