hi, does anybody get Asterisk with two HFC ISDN cards in Xen 2.0.7 or 3.0 working? I testing now to get a working Asterisk@home installation into a Xen DomU host. cu denny -- Sicherheit verständlich http://www.sides.de GnuPG Key http://pgpkeys.pca.dfn.de:11371/pks/lookup?op=get&search=0x2A5CE192AB7D3FE0 _______________________________________________ Xen-users mailing list Xen-users@lists.xensource.com http://lists.xensource.com/xen-users

I can''t upgrade the kernel from 2.6.11 to 2.6.14/15, and i can''t upgrade to Xen 3.x cause of the missing option :-( cu denny -- Sicherheit verständlich http://www.sides.de GnuPG Key http://pgpkeys.pca.dfn.de:11371/pks/lookup?op=get&search=0x2A5CE192AB7D3FE0 _______________________________________________ Xen-users mailing list Xen-users@lists.xensource.com http://lists.xensource.com/xen-users

It may not be 3.0.1, but certainly in some future version, device transfer will be made available [again]. -- Mats _______________________________________________ Xen-users mailing list Xen-users@lists.xensource.com http://lists.xensource.com/xen-users
Hi there, afaik transfering a physical PCI devise is not yet (any more) possible with xen3. Therefore you should refere to xen2 or wait until this feature is back in xen3. If using xen2 do the following: check out interupt of your card via lspci hide the interface in dom0 make a custom kernel for your domU and include the driver allocate the device to your domU enjoy :-) -----Original Message----- Sent: Dienstag 24.01.06 16:04:40 Subject: [Xen-users] HFC ISDN Card in Xen for asterisk>hi, > >does anybody get Asterisk with two HFC ISDN cards in Xen 2.0.7 or 3.0 >working? > >I testing now to get a working Asterisk@home installation into a Xen >DomU host. > >cu denny > >-- >Sicherheit verständlich http://www.sides.de >GnuPG Key >http://pgpkeys.pca.dfn.de:11371/pks/lookup?op=get&search=0x2A5CE192AB7D3FE0 >_______________________________________________ Xen-users mailing list Xen-users@lists.xensource.com http://lists.xensource.com/xen-users

Xen 2.0.x doesn''t support cli/sti call that zaphfc driver use (I did some test some time ago) so u can''t use HFC with xen in domU maybe the new vISDN driver works in 2.0 (I didn''t test it may you can try and report to us your experience) bye Visik7 _______________________________________________ Xen-users mailing list Xen-users@lists.xensource.com http://lists.xensource.com/xen-users

I need only mISDN. i will try it. The only problem can be, to compile the zaptel dummy, so that centos doesn''t cry ;-) -- Sicherheit verständlich http://www.sides.de GnuPG Key http://pgpkeys.pca.dfn.de:11371/pks/lookup?op=get&search=0x2A5CE192AB7D3FE0 _______________________________________________ Xen-users mailing list Xen-users@lists.xensource.com http://lists.xensource.com/xen-users

Denny Schierz schrieb:> i don''t use zaptel. I need only mISDN. i will try it.I''ve tested mISDN CVS a few month ago on XEN 2.0.7 and it worked without major problems. But I just tried CAPI (pppd with capi plugin) to establish an ISP connection. Not tested with asterisk ''cause - as Visik7 said - the zaphfc module didn''t work.
