I''m not too familiar with thunderbird, but look for an option like "store replies in this folder" in the options or folder properties. (Maybe also "always sent BCC to self" or something like that) /Ernst _______________________________________________ Xen-users mailing list Xen-users@lists.xensource.com http://lists.xensource.com/xen-users

I don''t experience any problems with any other maillinglists only with Xen-Users and Xen-Devel, so my guess is the problem is not mine.... but that''s my uneducated guess :-) kind regards, Robin van Leeuwen When i sent this reply i send it to: xen-users@lists.xensource.com only.... _______________________________________________ Xen-users mailing list Xen-users@lists.xensource.com http://lists.xensource.com/xen-users

Re: [Xen-users] general question message pops up twice
My guess would be one of a couple of things. Perhaps you have CC''ed yourself. But, likely you would remember that. The other thing is that some mail clients copy mail based on filters. Outlook was good for this. If you had 2 or more matching filters it would copy the mail to each folder for each filter it matched. Just my 2 cents. -Brian rvl@rldsoftware.nl wrote:>Ernst Bachmann wrote: > >>On Thursday 29 September 2005 01:10, Robin van Leeuwen wrote: >> >> >>>everytime i post my message show up >>>two times, this can be annoying for me, >>>but for others offcourse to. >>> >>>It makes threads very unreadably. >>>What can i do about that? >>> >>>TIA >>> >>> >> >>Your messages don''t show twice here, so its probably your mailer storing a >>copy of your mail in the mailinglist folder instead of the "sent mail" >>folder. >> >>I''m not too familiar with thunderbird, but look for an option like "store >>replies in this folder" in the options or folder properties. >> >>(Maybe also "always sent BCC to self" or something like that) >> >>/Ernst >> >>_______________________________________________ >>Xen-users mailing list >>Xen-users@lists.xensource.com >>http://lists.xensource.com/xen-users >> >> > >FYI :-) Your reply shows up THREE times in my mailclient.... >I don''t experience any problems with any other maillinglists >only with Xen-Users and Xen-Devel, so my guess is the problem >is not mine.... > >but that''s my uneducated guess :-) > >kind regards, > >Robin van Leeuwen >When i sent this reply i send it to: xen-users@lists.xensource.com >only.... > >_______________________________________________ >Xen-users mailing list >Xen-users@lists.xensource.com >http://lists.xensource.com/xen-users_______________________________________________ Xen-users mailing list Xen-users@lists.xensource.com http://lists.xensource.com/xen-users

Re: [Xen-users] general question message pops up twice
My email client is thunderbird for linux (offcourse :-) ) When i replu to this mail it says in the "To:" line xen-users@lists.xensource.com No CC''s or other recipients. My filter only contains: "When subject contains [Xen-users] move to RLD-Softwar->Xen-Users No copies anywhere. All my other wilters work correct. Only Xen lists gives problems.
