RE: [Xen-users] Fixed MAC address causes spurios network connectivity loss - SOLVED.

I could also just try another fixed MAC to test it.Bingo. Tried to switch to another MAC. Did a continous ping from another Linux box (not on the Xen server but on the same subnet): vif = [''mac=00:50:56:00:00:0A''] => 1900 packets without loss vif = [''mac=00:50:56:00:00:01''] => 796 packets trmd, 716 packets rcvd, 10% packet loss So in the first case I can ping for half an hour with perfect reliability. In the second case I have noticeable packet loss after only 10 minutes. I think it is safe to conclude that Xen is off the hook and that I''ll have to find the cause of my trouble elsewhere in our network. Thanks for your input!
