[Gluster-users] Will glusterFS 3.1.3 clients work against version 3.1.5 storage servers?
I'd like to upgrade my servers first - currently running GlusterFS 3.1.3. - to version 3.1.5. However, all my deployed clients are all running version 3.1.3, and I can't upgrade them all at the same time - I have to do it as each one reboots (usually weekly). Servers are running CentOS 5.6, if that makes any difference. Anyone know of any issues doing this? I know that I can't use 3.1.5 native GlusterFS clients against 3.1.3 servers (see here: http://community.gluster.org/q/can-i-use-version-3-1-5-native-glusterfs-clients-to-write-to-3-1-3-and-3-1-4-backend-storage-servers/ ) James Burnash Unix Engineer Knight Capital Group DISCLAIMER: This e-mail, and any attachments thereto, is intended only for use by the addressee(s)named herein and may contain legally privileged and/or confidential information. Hi James, Yes, 3.1.3 clients are compatible with 3.1.5 servers but not the other way round.
