Hi, I''m trying to work out a solution for multiple zones with exclusive IP stacks, and existing on the same VLAN. For example, I have 3 zones on the same subnet (lets say 10.10.10.0/24), and want to put them in the same VLAN (let''s say 20). If they weren''t zones, I would plumb up e1000g20000 or equiv on each and off we go, but with zones and exclusive IP stack, I can''t do this since the interfaces have to be unique. Is there any solution to this problem which results in all 3 zones on VLAN 20 and having exclusive IP stacks? Thanks, John This message posted from opensolaris.org

That has not been put back into OpenSolaris. You can try to use the old build 61, which is referenced from http://blogs.sun.com/stw/entry/in_two_places_at_once although I did not confirm it is still available via the download center. Hi Garrett, Huh, sort of takes the V out of VLAN. Sounds like I need to look into VNICs.
