This may be an obvious question but I thought I ''d ask anyway .
I have a three-interfaces setup.
I want to run some montoring scripts on my firewall and have those
mailed to my mailserver in the DMZ.
What I''m wondering is how to set this up.
I have sendmail on it which I can setup with a smart host relay which is
the mailserver in the DMZ.
To what NIC interface on the firewall do I assign a hostname and
domainname to be used for setting up sendmail. Meaning the ip-address
that will associate with that hostname. Does it make sense to do this
in the first place anyway ?
