I have a quick question regarding accounting rules. This is the contents of my accounting file. *for reference eth1 is my net interface eth0 is my loc interface ezp:COUNT - eth1 129.15.70.46 tcp 80 ezp:COUNT - 129.15.70.46 eth1 tcp - 80 smag:COUNT - eth1 129.15.70.24 tcp 80 smag:COUNT - 129.15.70.24 eth1 tcp - 80 alt:COUNT - eth1 eth0 all alt:COUNT - eth0 eth1 all DONE all The IP''s that I have listed are inside the firewall configured with Proxyarp. If I read and understood the documentation right then the first rule counts the traffic going to and coming from 129.15.70.46 on port 80. Smag does the same thing for a different IP of course and the last rule counts all traffic coming in or going out of the firewall. Does this make sense? These rules work but I want to make sure that the results I''m getting are the ones that I want and not something else. I have set this up currently with MRTG, which works great. I also want to say that I have learned so much from using shorewall, the documentation and this list. Thanks everyone who asks questions and espcially Tom for such a wonderfully useful tool. Jamie
