[Nut-upsuser] NUT -2.7.4 with Tripp Lite SMX1000 LCD on RPI4 runing 64bit ubuntu 20.04
Hi, This is a newbie post so please bear with me. After loosing my router to a random Subminute outage. I looked around for a fanless UPS and bought Tripp Lite SMX1000LCD The above constellation works. But I have some questions about outputs. Please see attache nut report for the config. upsc output: --8<-- fourpi01:~# upsc tripp Init SSL without certificate database battery.charge: 100 battery.runtime: 4050 battery.type: PbAc battery.voltage: 13.5 battery.voltage.nominal: 12.0 device.mfr: Tripp Lite device.model: TRIPP LITE UPS device.serial: FW-2473 A device.type: ups driver.name: usbhid-ups driver.parameter.bus: 001 driver.parameter.pollfreq: 30 driver.parameter.pollinterval: 2 driver.parameter.port: auto driver.parameter.productid: 2009 driver.parameter.synchronous: no driver.parameter.vendorid: 09ae driver.version: 2.7.4 driver.version.data: TrippLite HID 0.82 driver.version.internal: 0.41 input.frequency: 49.7 input.voltage: 221.5 input.voltage.nominal: 230 output.frequency.nominal: 50 output.voltage.nominal: 230 ups.beeper.status: disabled ups.delay.shutdown: 20 ups.mfr: Tripp Lite ups.model: TRIPP LITE UPS ups.power.nominal: 1000 ups.productid: 2009 ups.serial: FW-2473 A ups.status: OL ups.test.result: Done and passed ups.timer.reboot: 65535 ups.timer.shutdown: 65535 ups.vendorid: 09ae ups.watchdog.status: 0 -->8-- # Is it possible to fix model name to show the correct modelname i.e. " SMX1000LCD" # Firmware Version is reported as serial number ? # It was possible to do quick battery test but it was not possible to do a deep battery test, Is this feature not supported ? # Is it possible to calculate /estimate how much time is left when on battery ? For instance I have in ups.conf on a system where I use an Inform low-end UPS: runtimecal = 120,100,480,50 default.battery.voltage.low = 21.2 default.battery.voltage.high = 27.7

[Nut-upsuser] [EXTERNAL] NUT -2.7.4 with Tripp Lite SMX1000 LCD on RPI4 runing 64bit ubuntu 20.04
I can look into the firmware version reporting where a serial number should, the model number (cosmetically you can probably work around this in the conf files) if you send me a partial serial number (from Date Code to SKU): https://www.tripplite.com/support/identify-products There should be only one self-test for these models, so that would probably explain the reason no discrete deep-discharge test is supported in Network UPS Tools.
