[Nut-upsuser] cyberpower ups need to manully turn on the switch
Hi I have CP825AVR-G UPS. sometimes the UPS is shutdown due to whatever reason. But the annoying thing is even if the electrical power is back, that UPS will continue to beep, and I have to manually turn on the switch button in order for it to supply the load/power. I am wondering if there is any setting in the UPS I need to config? I just want the UPS to supply the power when the main electrical power is back. here is the output of the upsc command for that UPS. # upsc cyberpower battery.charge: 77 battery.charge.low: 10 battery.charge.warning: 20 battery.mfr.date: CPS battery.runtime: 519 battery.runtime.low: 300 battery.type: PbAcid battery.voltage: 8.5 battery.voltage.nominal: 12 device.mfr: CPS device.model: CP825AVR-G device.type: ups driver.name: usbhid-ups driver.parameter.pollfreq: 30 driver.parameter.pollinterval: 2 driver.parameter.port: auto driver.parameter.vendorid: 0764 driver.version: 2.6.5 driver.version.data: CyberPower HID 0.3 driver.version.internal: 0.37 input.transfer.high: 140 input.transfer.low: 90 input.voltage: 121.0 input.voltage.nominal: 120 output.voltage: 121.0 ups.beeper.status: enabled ups.delay.shutdown: 20 ups.delay.start: 30 ups.load: 40 ups.mfr: CPS ups.model: CP825AVR-G ups.productid: 0501 ups.realpower.nominal: 450 ups.status: OL CHRG ups.timer.shutdown: -1 ups.timer.start: 0 ups.vendorid: 0764 -- thanks min -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed... Are you using a GNU/Linux distribution with systemd? Which version of nut are you using? Do you have /usr/lib/systemd/system-shutdown/nutshutdown enabled? Roger

[Nut-upsuser] cyberpower ups need to manully turn on the switch
Hi I am using centos 6.3, and nut-2.6.5-2.el6.x86_64. could you explain why not sending "a delayed command to the UPS to turn it off" may cause that issue? I saw: ups.delay.shutdown: 20 ups.delay.start: 30 is it something related? thanks min On Sat, May 7, 2016 at 3:44 PM, Roger Price <roger at rogerprice.org> wrote:> On Sat, 7 May 2016, Min Wang wrote: > > Hi I have CP825AVR-G UPS. sometimes the UPS is shutdown due to whatever >> reason. >> >> But the annoying thing is even if the electrical power is back, that UPS >> will continue to beep, and I have to manually turn on the switch button in >> order for it to supply the load/power. >> >> I am wondering if there is any setting in the UPS I need to config?
